Freedom Programme Bedford

Bedford Women’s Centre deliver two weekly Freedom groups in a safe and confidential environment for women who may have experienced Domestic Abuse or want more information about healthy relationships.

The expected outcomes of group are:

  • To gain an understanding of acceptable and non – acceptable behaviours in relationships.
  • To increase self-esteem and confidence in women who have experienced unhealthy relationships
  • To prevent abusive relationships from happening by equipping women with the skills to recognise the signs of Coercive Control.
  • To provide a support network for women and children which will help them overcome Domestic Abuse and keep them safe.

Referral routes into service (professionals, self)

Please contact for a referral form or call the office. Women who are supported by Social Services need to be referred by their Social Worker.
