IKWRO (Iranian And Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation)

IKWRO’s mission is to advance MENA and Afghan women and girl’s rights, combat discrimination and violence against women and girls, and empower women and girls to access their rights and entitlements in the UK. They speak Farsi, Kurdish, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish, and English.

IKWRO offers women and girls confidential advice on issues including domestic abuse, “Honour” Based Violence, Forced Marriage, Child Marriage, Female Genital Mutilation, separation and divorce, child custody, housing and benefits. They explain the options and help you make decisions and can provide services on the telephone (Monday-Friday 9.30am-5.30pm), at their London office or meet you at a place which is safe and convenient for you.

They are not affiliated with any religion or political party. IKWRO upholds confidentiality and never mediates with perpetrators, family or community members.
