Mind BLMK are collaborating with CAMHS and East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) in Central Bedfordshire and Bedford to provide crisis services for young people in need of mental health support. The Young Person’s Sanctuaries are safe, non-judgemental spaces that young people can access if they are in crisis or mental distress in the evenings, and are staffed by trained youth mental health workers who will listen and help identify ways to address the problems being faced.

The Young Person’s Sanctuaries are for young people, aged 14-17, who are experiencing mental distress or crisis as well as those looking for a safe space to access some support.  No one will ever be turned away. Young people are welcome to bring anyone from their support system with them and can attend regardless of whether they are already receiving mental health support.
