The Walking Alongside You (WAY) project is a creative approach designed to address the problems of women who have had one or more children removed from their care, and where there is potential risk that if there was a future pregnancy this may also result in a child being removed.

WAY offers an intense programme of therapeutic, practical and behavioural support individually designed around each woman’s individual need. It aims to break the cycle and give women the opportunity to develop new skills and responses that can help create a more positive future for themselves through use of practical hands-on support, designed around individual needs.
