Victims and Witness Information Service

This nationwide service was launched in August 2015 as part of the Government’s commitment to victims and witnesses of crime. It helps you find local support after a crime takes place. It brings together information on what will happen after reporting a crime, the people you might meet, the help you should get and how to complain if something goes wrong.

The telephone number is available between 8am – 8pm daily, calls from landlines are free but you may be charged from a mobile.

It is supported by the website, which signposts you to help within your local area.
