CHUMS

CHUMS is a mental health and emotional wellbeing support for children, young people and their families. Their ethos is to support the family as a whole wherever possible, as well as the child who has been referred. Some services directly support adults.

They currently deliver nine services across Luton and Bedfordshire, although not all are available in both areas. Group workshops support parents/carers as well as their children. The most up to date list of services offered within Luton and Bedfordshire, along with other information, can be found here.

Referral to CHUMS is via online referral forms relevant to your location and the service required. Please make sure you read the service criteria before completing the form.

Please note that CHUMS is not an urgent mental health response service. If you, a child or young person are immediate risk to themselves or others, please contact your GP or local A&E. Alternatively call NHS 111 – option 2, for mental health crisis support 24/7.
