DeafHope is the UK's only sign-language based service to help deaf women and children who suffer from domestic abuse. When sign-language is the main way you communicate it can be very hard to get help. If you are being abused, the DeafHope team are here to help you. We will help find you and your children a safe place to stay, and then give you the help you need to rebuild your life again and regain your confidence. Abuse is never right and never your own fault. You do not need to put up with it.

DeafHope is our service giving support to women and children who are caught up in domestic abuse. It is the only service of its kind in the UK which is based in sign language.
Being Deaf puts women at twice the risk of being abused, and makes getting help more difficult. You can’t just pick up the phone and call a help-line when you’re Deaf.
